1Who we are

Stay Inn rents apartments by the day in Yerevan, Armenia. We decide how the personal data described here is used, so we are responsible for it under the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Protection of Personal Data.

2What we collect

We only ask for what we need to host you.

• Bookings: your first and last name, email, phone number, the dates and number of guests, any note you add, the price and prepayment, and the payment reference from our payment provider. We never receive or store your card details.
• Your account: your name, email, phone number and password. The password is stored only in hashed form, so no one can read it.
• Messages and requests: your name, phone, email and message when you use the contact form, ask about an apartment or ask us to call you back. When you offer your own apartment for rent, also the photos you send.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser and the pages you open, which our servers record to keep the site working and secure.

3Why we use it

• To take your booking and prepayment, confirm it and contact you about your stay. We need this to fulfil our agreement with you.
• To answer your questions and requests, because you asked us to.
• To run your account, so you can see your bookings.
• To protect the site and our guests from spam, fraud and abuse.
• To keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.

We do not sell your data, do not build advertising profiles and do not send marketing messages.

4Who we share it with

We pass your data only to the services we need to run your booking, and each of them gets only what it needs.

• RealtyCalendar, the booking calendar we manage our apartments in, receives your name, phone and email for each booking.
• Our payment provider processes your prepayment.
• Email and WhatsApp (Meta) deliver your booking confirmation and updates.
• Google checks our forms for bots with reCAPTCHA, which receives your IP address and browser data. Maps on the site come from Google Maps and fonts from Google Fonts.
• Government authorities, when Armenian law requires it.

Some of these services store data outside Armenia.

5Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work:

• laravel-session keeps you signed in, remembers your currency and protects forms. It expires after two hours without activity.
• XSRF-TOKEN protects forms against forged requests.
• If you tick “Remember me” when signing in, one more cookie keeps you signed in on that device for longer.

We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Google reCAPTCHA and Google Maps may set their own cookies, as described in Google’s privacy policy.

6How long we keep it

• Bookings and payment records: as long as Armenian accounting and tax law requires.
• Messages and requests: as long as we need to answer and follow up on them.
• Your account: until you ask us to delete it.
• Server logs: for a short time, for security.

7Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or object to how we use it. The Data Protection page explains your rights and how to use them.

8Children

Bookings must be made by an adult. We do not knowingly collect data about children, apart from how many children will stay.

9Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top.
